Fortunately everything went great, the rain didn't bring up any problem. Here's a Z I parked next to at a rest stop! Took me about 14 hours, straight down I-95 south going around 80 (70 in VA). What I learned: Bro trucks really are for douches. I'll be going the speed limit in very heavy rain with moderate traffic, and they'll feel the need to weave to pass me without even having their lights on.

The van handled it great, I was holding up great in the drivers seat for the first 10 hours, then I stopped and took a half hour nap and walked around a little to stretch out. The rain cleared up right as we got into Orlando, and the condo is pretty nice. Looking like it'll be a good trip!

I'm jealous, I just got back from Orlando. I was enjoying 70+ degree temperatures. Then I had to go back to Texas, 40 degrees here.

Awesome. Reminds me of a road trip a friend and I did a few years back - from Calgary, Alberta, through Oregon, down the California coast line to San Diego, then up through Vegas, to Utah, out to the Salt Flats, then back north. Those warm nights were quite nice!

Woah, quite a trip! I can tell that I'm already gonna be missing these warm nights, I will say I could do without the humidity though!

40 is a warm day in VA! I have family in Texas, they always complain if it's under 60 haha. I'm definitely gonna enjoy this as much as I can!
